Android R will have built in ID with Snapdragon 865

The mobile industry is ever-growing, companies are making smartphones smarter day by day. With the combination of the latest hardware and software, the smartphone is making everyday easy. Earlier, the mobile companies introduced Mobile wallets, e-credit cards, and mobile banking and now they are taking it to the next level. The smartphone processor manufacturer company Qualcomm held its annual summit at Hawai. There, the company introduced its next-generation processor: Snapdragon 865. According to the company Phones using the premium Snapdragon 865 chip will be able to tap into a new feature coming to Android R, the next version of Google’s operating system for phones.

Google has already announced at the annual I/O 2019 that the next Android version will support the built-in Ids. Android R will be taking advantage of Qualcomm’s improved security solutions to make it secure platform to keep IDs. Driving licenses were directly shown on stage, though it was suggested that there may also be a place to allow digital passports as well.

The new Snapdragon 865 will be really powerful. It will support 200 MP camera and it will have a 5G modem too. The processor will support a larger fingerprint scanner too. The Snapdragon 865 will be available from mid-2020 while Android R will be released on September 2020
