Facebook Dark mode available for some beta testers

The dark mode is getting popular day by day. Operating systems like Android 10 and iOS 13 now support Dark mode. There are so many apps as well who support dark mode or they are testing it. First WhatsApp started testing the dark mode and now the second facebook owned app “Facebook” is testing it in some regions.

According to a report from Android Police, some users saw dark mode in their devices before it disappeared. Some Reddit users have posted about this months ago and now recently, some of the twitter users have uploaded screenshots of the dark mode.

Users have reported that the latest Android beta version — 2.19.327 is coming with dark mode. Apart from this feature, a new feature is also being tested by the company, this feature is similar to “Close Friends” feature on Instagram.  This feature is spotted by reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong. Facebook has confirmed the feature. According to a Facebook spokesperson, the feature is a prototype and is created by the Messenger team. The “Close friends” feature lets you add a story that is only visible to a selected audience.
