MI 10 users the first to get the taste of MIUI 12 in India.
MI has announced on Twitter that the new MIUI 12 will be rolled out in a phased manner. The MI 10 is the first device to get the update.
Additionally, Mi 10 is also expected to get a fun Magic Clone feature with the latest update.
MI has confirmed that the new MIUI 12 will be available for people using MI 10, Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro, Note 8, Note 8 Pro, Note 7, and Note 7 Pro. No news of devices other than these for now.
What’s new?
MIUI 12 has two major features, one of them being a better dark mode. The other one being better brightness adjusting depending upon your ambiance. A new ultra power saving mode is also coming along with the update. It will improve your battery and reduce power consumption.
Talking about the new magic clone which is exclusive for MI 10 devices. This feature will let you take videos with still frames in the video, which starts to play at a certain time. In official words “It captures the same person, or any other subject, up to four times at different intervals to create a combined image”.
Some users have of Poco X2 and Note 9 Pro has came out on twitter saying that they are already getting updates on their devices. Don’t know if it is the MIUI 12 software update or some minor security patches and all.
