Xiaomi, the Chinese phone manufacturer will come out with a new version of MIUI, especially for Indian users.

The company states that it is “developing a new version of MIUI that will be built without pre-installation of any of the blocked apps.”

The new software will roll out in a phased manner over the next few weeks. Xiaomi has confirmed that all of its phones running MIUI in India will get the new version. Besides this, all upcoming Xiaomi phones will also carry the new MIUI software.
Xiaomi has also cleared the rumors that MIUI has its own cleaner app and that it’s not using Cheetah Mobile’s banned Clean Master app on its phones.
Xiaomi tweeted about all this and have posted a letter along with the tweet.
One of the points stated in the letter is that MI makes sure the data of Indian users are stored on a local server rather than the main server in China.
The government’s policy to ban 59 Chinese apps has affected MI browser too. This has created a lot of problems for developers and OEM manufacturers. All they can do is live with this problem.
