BS6 Kawasaki Versys 650 has been launched finally after the launch of the BS6 Ninja 650 and BS6 Z650.

The all-new Kawasaki Versys 650 gets some minor updates. Overall the superbike is almost same as before. Powered by a 649cc 2-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with 4 valves that produces 65BHP of power and 61Nm of torque. The new figures regarding the power and torque are lesser than the older Kawasaki Versys 650 by 3BHP and 3Nm respectively. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox which is similar to the BS4 variant.

Kawasaki Versys 650 is now also available in a new avatar when it comes to color options. The Kawasaki’s Candy Lime Color is the new color option available with the 2020 Kawasaki Versys 650.

Likewise, the dimension of the bike also remains the same with the length of the bike being 2165mm, width-840mm, height-1400mm, and the wheelbase of 1415mm which is similar to the outgoing Kawasaki Versys 650. The fuel tank capacity of the bike remains the same at 21 litres.

The new Kawasaki Versys 650 was expected to come with a TFT screen as well as an LED headlight unit. However, there are no such updates on the bike as the instrument cluster remains to be a semi-digital unit while the headlight remains a twin halogen unit.

2020 Kawasaki Versys 650 is priced at a premium of ₹6.79 lakhs which is ₹10,000 more when compared to the last updated BS4 variant.
