Features

Feature-wise, the updated Tuono V4 packs a fully digital instrument console, LED headlights, side-mounted exhaust and a sculpted fuel tank among others.

Hardware

With an overall weight of somewhere around 209kgs, the all-new Tuono V4 sits on an electronically adjustable suspension setup sourced by Ohlins. Surprisingly, for braking duties, Aprilia has hired twin 330mm disc brakes up front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. As claimed by the brand, all three of them are Brembo units.

Engine

Powering the 2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 is a BS6 compliant 1077cc four-cylinder petrol motor. According to the spec sheet, this unit is truly capable of churning out a decent 173BHP @ 11,350RPM and 122Nm of peak torque @ 11,000RPM. Unlike the RSV4, this one comes with an even larger 18.5-litre fuel tank.

Alternatives & Price

Currently, Tuono V4 comes with a price tag of Rs.20.66 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). This way, it locks horns against roadsters such as Triumph Street Triple, Honda CB100R and KTM 990 Super Duke among others.

Features

In terms of features, the RSV4 is richer with Aprilia Performance Ride Control System that enables riders to use features such as traction control, wheelie control, engine maps, cruise control and a speed limiter to name a few.

Hardware

Planning to buy the RSV4? Well, you will be getting a fully adjustable electronic suspension setup for this premium pricing. The ‘Ohlins’ powered system brings 125mm wheel travel at the front while at the rear, the same stands at 115mm.

The twin 330mm front discs and 220mm rear disc assisted by the Bosch ABS are enough to stop this powerful bike without any hassle.

Engine

At the heart, the updates RSV4 gets a 1099cc four-cylinder engine that is now compliant with the latest emission norms. The overall output from this unit is rated at 214BHP @ 13,000RPM and 125Nm @ 10,500RPM. Interestingly, it is also expected to come with a decent range because of a large 17.9-litre fuel tank.

Alternatives & Price

In India, Aprilia RSV4 compares with some well-known competitors including Ducati Panigale V4, Yamaha YZF-R1, BMW S1000RR and Kawasaki ZX-10R. The Italian brand has priced the new bike with a premium tag of Rs.23.69 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
