Aston Martin in a collaboration with Bowmore distillery has recently revealed a special edition of the Aston Martin DBX. The limited-edition SUV is known as the DBX Bowmore edition. Bowmore distillery has always been known for its legendary single malt whisky. Hence, the production of the Aston Martin DBX Bowmore edition will be limited to only 18 units.
Apart from this, Aston Martin is offering two color options on the all-new DBX Bowmore edition including Bowmore Blue and Xenon Grey. Meanwhile, to provide a personalised experience the company has hired its own ‘Q by Aston Martin’ to personalise the limited edition SUV. Customers can also opt for the black brake calipers along with the smoked alloy wheels.
The limited-edition SUV comes with two themes inside the cabin, precisely – Obsidian Monotone and Copper Tone Metallic/Obsidian Duotone. Meanwhile, the center console comes finished in black with a copper cupholder that enhances the premium appeal of the SUV to a certain extent.
Under the hood, the all-new Aston Martin DBX Bowmore edition gets the same 4.0L Biturbo V8 engine. It produces 550Ps of power @ 6500RPM with a peak torque of 700Nm @ 2200-5000RPM. Meanwhile, the engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with power channeled to all wheels which makes it a powerful SUV.
Performance-wise, the Aston Martin DBX can do a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 4.3 seconds. However, the top speed of the SUV remains 291 kmph with a fuel economy of 10.2 kmpl (claimed).
However, the company has not revealed the price of the 2021 Aston Martin DBX Bowmore edition yet. Meanwhile, the regular Aston Martin DBX comes priced at $1,90,000. Therefore, we expect the company to price the limited edition SUV at a premium only.
