As soon as Benelli launched the 2021 TRK 502, our team reported that the bike manufacturer will bring the more off road capable TRK 502X as well. The company has finally launched the all-new adventure tourer with an introductory price tag of Rs.5,19,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

However, this price tag is only applicable for the Metallic Dark Grey variant. For Pure White and Benelli Red variants, the customers will have to pay a premium of Rs.10,000.

Further, the company has already started accepting bookings for the 2021 Benelli TRK 502X against a token amount of Rs.10,000. Currently, there are around 41 authorised Benelli dealerships across the country.

2021 Benelli TRK 502X

When compared to the regular TRK 502, the 502X is obviously a more offroad capable adventure tourer with a decent ground clearance of 220mm. Further, based on the steel trellis frame platform, it is available with inverted forks upfront and a hydraulic monoshock setup at the rear.

In terms of brakes, TKR 502X comes with twin 320mm discs at the front. Meanwhile, at the back, there is a single 260mm disc to stop the powerful bike. For enhanced safety, Benelli offers a dual-channel ABS on the updated TRK 502X.

Feature-wise, the capable off roader comes with a large 20-litre fuel tank, redesigned rearview mirrors, new exhaust, backlit switchgear and a revised semi-digital instrument cluster to name a few. The updated 502X still flaunts maximum protection for the riders in the form of knuckle guards, tall windscreen and leg guards as well.

At the heart, it is comes powered by a 500cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is extremely capable of producing a massive 47.5PS of power @ 8500 RPM. The peak torque from this motor on the other hand stands at 46Nm @ 6000 RPM. Further, the all-new Benelli TRK 502X gets a 6-speed gearbox.

Honda is trying to expand its BS6 portfolio in India and while this expansion happens many motorcycle enthusiasts are happy to see their favourite bikes return in their BS6 avatar. Also, the demand for adventure tourers has increased exponentially high in recent times.

And to fulfill this demand, Honda has recently launched the 2021 Honda CB500X with a starting price tag of Rs.6.87 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated ADV bike comes powered by a 471cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing 47.5HP and 43.2Nm of peak torque.
