2021 Force Gurkha: What to expect?

Exterior

Most of the changes can be witnessed outside and to begin with, the all-new Force Gurkha is now expected to feature a new pair of LED headlights, reprofiled bumpers, large wheel arches, 16-inch alloy wheels and body cladding to enhance the overall stance. According to the sources, several new colours have also been introduced to the palette for enhanced road presence. Several sources suggest that the upcoming Gurkha will also get new dual-tone shades for prospective buyers.

Interior

This time, the carmaker does not want to stay much behind the all-new Thar. As expected, Force will finally introduce a new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto. Just to maintain the ruggedness, it will continue to remain an old school in terms of layout.

Engine

Under the hood, expect the updated Force Gurkha to feature the older 2.6-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. As per the carmaker, this engine is now compliant with the latest emission norm with power figures rated somewhere around 90BHP and 260Nm. Also, transmission duties for this entire setup are managed by a 5-speed gearbox with a four-wheel-drive system available across the entire range.

Alternatives

Maruti Suzuki is planning to introduce the all-new Jimny for the Indian market. However, till then, Force Gurkha will continue its rivalry with the second generation Thar. Want to learn more about it? Check out all the details down below.
