Jeep has recently introduced the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L globally. First introduced 30 years ago, Jeep Grand Cherokee now looks more appealing with an ample amount of road presence, luxury and a modern 4X4 drivetrain that makes the SUV a more capable offroader. Further, the updated Jeep Grand Cherokee L now comes with a more muscular look with almost all the electronic aids that a modern SUV requires.
Design
Design-wise, the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L looks massive. However, new elements such as a new pair of headlamps with DRLs, a redesigned bumper and the signature seven slat grille on the SUV allows it to look even more premium. Further, there are the 21-inch alloy wheels, LED taillamps, rear parking camera, LED stop lamps that make the all-new Grand Cherokee a feature-rich SUV.
Interior
With a 3rd row and a 6-seater layout, the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee feels premium from inside. Meanwhile, multiple features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster, metallic rotary dial and a wireless charging pad among others are also offered on the updated SUV. Further, the next-generation infotainment system on the Jeep Grand Cherokee L now comes with the FCA’s Uconnect 5 system. The wireless charging holder can now charge upto two smartphones together.
For an unmatched music experience, it comes equipped with a 19-speak surround sound system by McIntosh. Further, there are multiple charging ports on the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L that are easily accessible.
Engine
The engine that will power the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is a 3.6L V6 petrol unit. Meanwhile, a more powerful 5.7L Hemi V8 engine is also available for the US market. In India, we expect Jeep to come up with a more sensible powerplant option. Likewise, for the European market, Jeep will bring a smaller capacity engine for the obvious reasons.
Jeep is all set to launch multiple SUVs in India this year and therefore we expect the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee to arrive in India soon. However, the company has not confirmed the launch of the Grand Cherokee L in India yet.
