Moto Guzzi has revealed the updated V85TT globally. Meanwhile, the all-new bike is now more environment friendly and packs multiple electronic aids on offer. The recently revealed 2021 Moto Guzzi V85TT remains almost the same as earlier. However, the bike manufacturer has now introduced new tyres and wheels on the updated motorcycle. Also, there are two new riding modes, precisely – Sport and Custom along with five other similar settings.

Updates: 2021 Moto Guzzi V85TT

The all-new Moto Guzzi V85TT comes with an 853cc air-cooled twin-cylinder engine. However, the bike manufacturer has yet not revealed its power figures. Earlier, it used to come with the exact same engine and produced 80Ps of power alongside a peak torque of 81.3Nm. Further, this engine still comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

In terms of safety features, the 2021 Moto Guzzi V85TT comes with switchable dual-channel ABS, cruise control and traction control among others. Apart from this, there is a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster that allows the rider to browse through all these settings. Also, this same instrument cluster can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. For 2021 MY, customers get the option to choose among three colors on offer including Rosso Eluru Red, Giallo Mojave Yellow and Nero Etna Black.

Initially, Moto Guzzi V85TT was available for sale in India with a price tag of Rs.12.64 Lakh. However, with these updates, the all-new motorcycle is expected to get a price hike.

Alternatives

In India, Moto Guzzi V85TT will compete against the likes of Honda Africa Twin and BMW F850 GS. The 2021 Honda Africa Twin comes with a 1,084cc two-cylinder engine. Further, this engine can deliver a maximum output of 99.2HP and 103Nm of torque. Also, it is available with a manual as well as a DCT gearbox.

There are multiple electronic aids available on the all-new Africa Twin including cornering ABS, wheelie control, six-axis IMU and a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console. Coming to the BMW F850 GS, that comes powered by an 853cc twin-cylinder engine.

Earlier, the adventure tourer was tuned in such a way that it produced 90BHP of power alongside a peak torque of 86Nm. However, the updated BMW F850 GS is all set to launch in India on 12th March 2021.
