The revised SUV features several updates on the outside. A new front grille, LED headlights, Sport Design wing mirrors and alloy wheels ranging from 19-21-inches with different designs are all said to be a part of the update for MY2021. Even a palette full of 14 exciting exterior shades with two new colours including Papaya Metallic and Gentian Blue Metallic has been introduced for the first time.

The brand is also offering Python Green colour scheme on the Macan GTS to maintain its uniqueness.

Inside the cabin, Porsche has introduced more futuristic controls for the centre console. Instead of the tactile buttons, it now gets touch sensors with a smaller gear level as standard.

A 10.9-inch FHD touchscreen infotainment system is still there above which sits an analogue clock. Interestingly, a sportier steering wheel with an ample amount of feel and feedback makes the new Macan a typical performance SUV in today’s world.

Engine & Performance

Starting with the standard Macan, it comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor good for 265HP. Earlier, the overall output from the same used to be somewhere around 245HP.

The mid S variant will now feature a 2.9-litre V6 motor that churns out a massive 380HP with agility onboard. As mentioned above, there’s no Turbo variant available this time. Therefore, the GTS variant which was revealed a few days before will now act as a top-end variant. What’s exciting about this variant is that it now produces 440HP alongside a peak torque of 549Nm. As a result, the Macan GTS is now the fastest and to be precise, it can now do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 4.3 seconds. The top speed from the same is rated at 272kmph.
