Firstly, the all-new Kodiaq will be offered in three trims including – L&K, SportLine and RS. Despite being different variants, all of them are now available with redesigned bumpers, sleeker-looking Matrix LED headlamps, roof rails, rear spoiler, etc. to name a few. Further, just like the headlamps, even the taillamps are now revised units. Other exterior changes include refurbished wing mirrors and a new set of alloy wheels depending upon the trim.

Inside the cabin, it will continue to get either a 5-seater or a 7-seater layout. Globally, Skoda Kodiaq comes with massage and heated function for the front seats. And, maybe this time we expect both these features to be a part of the Indian lineup. I

Further, in terms of features, it comes with 2 spoke multifunctional steering wheel, ambient lighting, 10-speaker Canton surround sound system with subwoofer, etc. just to name a few. Multiple powertrains have been introduced for the global variant. To start with, the powerful RS variant will come equipped with a 245HP, 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. It is the same motor that is also available on the Octavia RS. Other than this, there is a 150HP, 1.5-litre TSI and a 190HP, 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine. In India, the company will continue to offer a petrol lineup only. However, globally, it is available with a 2.0-litre TDI motor with two different tunes.

Further, all the engines will come mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG gearbox with an all-wheel drive powertrain as standard.
