Even the smallest change makes a difference. To start with, the all-new Octavia gets a revamped cabin that depicts a minimalistic approach. The Czech carmaker has introduced dual high-resolution screens. For reference, the first one is a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display and the other one is reserved for a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Also, it will come with a dual spoke multifunctional steering wheel which we have earlier seen on the Kushaq as well.

Based on the MQB platform, the upcoming Skoda Octavia is now 19mm longer and 15mm wider. For starters, these additional numbers have resulted in an extended boot space of around 10 litres. Further, the boot carrying capacity of the Skoda Octavia will now stand at 600-litres.

In terms of features, the all-new sedan gets a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, cruise control and various drive modes to name a few. Skoda cars are known for their build quality and safety features. Therefore, the updated Octavia will come with eight airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control and semi-auto parking assist among others.

At the heart, it will be available with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor. Talking in numbers, it produces a massive 190HP and 320Nm of peak torque while being mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. Skoda is crystal clear about not introducing a diesel engine for its entire lineup in India. Therefore, just be ready to see the all-new Octavia in a petrol guise only.
