Suzuki has recently launched the 2021 V-Strom 650 XT in India. The company has priced the all-new tourer at Rs.8.84 Lakh onwards. Meanwhile, the BS4 variant used to cost just Rs.7.46 Lakh (ex-showroom). With the minimalist approach, the all-new Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT is a perfect cruiser, tourer and can be used for mild offroading as well.
The bike will now get a BS6 compliant engine. Apart from this, the bike does not receive any other changes.
FEATURES
Feature-wise, it is a loaded sports adventure tourer that offers an LED tail lamp, semi-digital instrument cluster, knuckle guards as well as traction control. Meanwhile, customers can opt for spoke wheels for both ends via the hardware package.
BRAKING & SUSPENSION
Based on the aluminuim twin-spare frame, the bike weighs around 216 kgs. Meanwhile, the sports adventure tourer sits upon the telescopic forks that do a quite impressive job. Coming to the brakes, the all-new Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT gets a 310mm dual disc setup at the front and a 260mm disc at the rear.
ENGINE
At the heart, the updated Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT gets a 649cc V-twin engine. This engine is now a BS6 compliant motor and it produces 71 BHP of power @ 8,800 RPM with a peak torque of 62Nm @ 6,300 RPM.
In India, Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT will rival the Kawasaki Versys 650 range. The updated Kawasaki Versys 650 on the other hand, cost somewhere around Rs. 6.79 Lakh onwards (ex-showroom, Delhi).
