TVS Motor Company earlier introduced the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V with a single channel ABS at Rs.1.28 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, it was time for the Apache RTR 160 4V to get a similar mid-life update and the company did exactly the same. TVS has finally launched the 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V in India with a starting price tag of Rs.1,07,270 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the single disc variant. Meanwhile, the one with a dual-disc will cost its customers a premium of Rs.1,10,320 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V
First things first, the all-new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V comes with an updated 159.7cc oil-cooled petrol engine. Further, this engine is now capable of producing a massive 17.38HP @ 9250 RPM and a peak torque of 14.73Nm @ 7250 RPM. It is still available with a 5-speed gearbox.
When compared to the outgoing counterpart, the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is now lighter by 2 kgs. This way, the single-disc variant now weighs somewhere around 145kgs. Meanwhile, the weight of the other one with dual discs stands at 147 kgs.
Mechanically, the 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V remains unchanged. It still gets the telescopic forks at the front and a conventional monoshock setup at the back. However, customers will be getting three color schemes to choose from, including Knight Black, Metallic Blue and Racing Red. Further, the bike remains almost similar to the older one with an LED headlamps and a fully digital instrument cluster to name a few.
