T-Roc was discontinued as soon as the German carmaker managed to sell the first lot. But, as per the new SUVW strategy, Volkswagen was initially planning to introduce four SUVs in India. Well, considering that, what can be better than the all-new Volkswagen T-Roc. It is popular among the youth of the country. The car even packs all the modern features. Also, it is offered with a powerful 1.5-litre petrol engine. All these factors together make the 2021 T-Roc a very well balanced SUV.

Want to know more about it? Let’s head straight towards the details.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Volkswagen has launched the 2021 Volkswagen T-Roc in India at Rs.21.35 Lakhs.
  • It will be available with a powerful 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

2021 Volkswagen T-Roc

Firstly, there is only one fully loaded variant on offer. To be precise, it comes with large 17-inch alloy wheels, projector headlamps setup, panoramic sunroof, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, etc. to name a few.

The engine on the 2021 Volkswagen T-Roc is a 1.5-litre TSI EVO petrol unit. Further, it churns out a massive 147BHP of power and a peak torque of 250Nm while being mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. Not to forget, T-Roc is based upon the MQB platform. Therefore, in terms of ride and handling the SUV remains one of the best in the segment. The cylinder deactivation technology makes it fuel-efficient as well.

Performance-wise, T-Roc can easily do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 8.4 seconds. Meanwhile, the top speed from the same remains at 205kmph.

With power comes responsibility. And when talking about a German car it is really very true. In terms of safety, the all-new SUV comes with 6-airbags, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC, ABS as well as EBD to name a few.

Multiple dual-tone colour schemes are still available on the 2021 T-Roc. The list includes:

  • Energetic Orange,
  • Kurkuma Yellow,
  • Ravenna Blue,
  • Indium Grey, and
  • Pure White.

Volkswagen has started accepting bookings for the 2021 T-Roc. Meanwhile, customers can now book the all-new SUV against a token amount of 51,000.
