2021 Yamaha R15 V3 Launched in IndonesiaImage Source: Yahoo News India

Many bike manufacturers have revealed their updated bikes for FY 2021. And now, even Yamaha is all set with its R15 V3 to rival these updated bikes globally. No mechanical changes can be seen on the updated 150cc bike. However, the Japanese bike manufacturer has introduced three new colors to the R15 V3 as a part of the mid-life update. These colors are similar to what Yamaha offers on the R1 and R6 superbikes.

  • Yamaha has recently revealed the 2021 Yamaha R15 in Indonesia.
  • The 150cc premium motorcycle is now available with three new colors on offer.
  • It is still not sure if the Japanese bike manufacturer will launch the same in India as well.

As per the updates, the three colors are as follows:

  • Metallic Blue
  • Matte Silver and,
  • Matte Black.

Apart from this, there are several other color schemes available for different markets. For instance, in India, Yamaha R15 V3 is available with Thunder Grey, Racing Blue and Dark Knight paint schemes.

Unlike India, Yamaha R15 V3 in Indonesia comes with a golden USD fork at the front. Further, at the rear, there is a conventional monoshock setup that works really well even on bad roads. Even features such as LED headlight, taillight, all-digital instrument cluster and 17-inch alloy wheels are still there on the 2021 Yamaha R15 V3.

Powering the India-bound Yamaha R15 V3 is a BS6 compliant 155cc liquid-cooled engine. It produces 18.6PS of power alongside 14.1Nm of torque and is offered with a 6-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the 2021 Yamaha R15 V3 goes against the likes of KTM RC 125, Honda CBR150R and KTM RC 200.
