Last generation Civic used to come with two body styles including sedan and hatchback. Well, this time, the ideology remains exactly the same as Honda has recently revealed the eleventh-gen Civic hatchback.

Exterior & Design
Just like the sedan, this new hatchback features an overall makeover in terms of design. With a revised honeycomb grille, slim LED headlamps, sloping roofline, short rear overhang and a new set of alloy wheels it looks absolutely modern.
According to the carmaker, the hatchback variant of the 2022 Civic is shorter by 124mm and to be precise, a new tailgate with a wide LED tail bar lamp is also there for a premium appearance.
Interior
Inside the cabin, the new hatchback remains uncongested with minimum switches and less clutter. Just like the new sedan, it features a standing 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard, a larger 9-inch unit as optional and a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster as a part of the latest gadget updates. For smartphone connectivity, the new-gen hatchback comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other than this, a wireless charging pad and a Bose surround sound system is also available depending on the variants.
Engine & Powertrain
Honda has finally revealed hybrid variants of the Civic hatchback. The ICE motors such including a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder that churn out a massive 158BHP of power and 187Nm of peak torque remain similar to the outgoing model.
Another 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 180BHP and 240Nm of peak torque is also there while being mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox on offer. Just for your information, the sedan does not feature any manual transmission on board. The Sport and Sport Touring variants of the Civic hatchback also feature paddle shifters for added convenience.
