Honda has recently revealed the 2022 Honda Civic Prototype on a game streaming website called Twitch. Meanwhile, the motive of revealing the first look of the 11th-generation Honda Civic through a gaming channel was to target the young population.

Coming to the design, the all-new Honda Civic looks more decent than ever. Meanwhile, when compared to the present model it sheds all the sportier elements to look premium. Thus, the looks remain subjective as Civic has always been known for its aggressive design. Apart from this, Honda has also made multiple changes including redesigned headlamps with DRLs, slimmer grille and newly designed 10-spoke, 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the Japanese carmaker is all set to step ahead with the minimalistic approach. With a simpler dashboard design along with AC vents running across from one end to another the interior of the 2022 Civic looks absolutely stunning. Meanwhile, the upcoming Honda Civic will also come with a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display, an all-digital instrument display along with three dials for AC control.

Right now, in India, Honda Civic comes with a 1.8L i-VTEC Petrol engine that produces 141PS of power and a peak torque of 174Nm. Meanwhile, the other one is a 1.6L i-DTEC Diesel motor that churns out 120PS of power and a peak torque of 300Nm. However, Honda is expected to come with a similar powertrain for the 11th generation Honda Civic.

In India, Honda Civic’s prime rivals are the Hyundai Elantra and Skoda Octavia. Meanwhile, we expect to see the facelift version of both the rivals really soon.
