The best part about the new Panigale V4 is that it is faster than ever. With lots of updates including minor revisions on the chassis, powerplant and features, it feels more balanced when compared to the outgoing model.

Starting with the design, the new bike now comes with a sole Ducati Red colour scheme. To improve the styling even further, the bike manufacturer has decided to offer new graphics on the side panels. Talking about the ergonomics, even the seating has slightly improved due to revisions on the swingarm. Interestingly, both the standard and V4 S model now uses cast aluminium wheels to manage the overall weight smartly.

Hardware

Just like the older version even this range comes in two different trims namely – Standard and V4 S. For starters, the first one is available with an adjustable 43mm Showa Big Piston fork (front) and a Sachs monoshock suspension setup at the back. The V4 S variant on the other hand sits on a premium Ohlins fork up front and a TTX36 monoshock setup at the back.

Engine

This is one of the major highlights of the 2022 Panigale V4. Yes, you guessed it right. The engine has received a lot of revisions in the form of new components including a new oil pump. Ducati now boasts the older 1103cc four-cylinder engine with overall output rated at 215.5HP @ 13,000 RPM and 123.6Nm of peak torque @ 9500 RPM. Transmission duties for this updated range will now be managed by a new 6-speed gearbox.

Four new ride modes including Low, Medium, High and Full to alter the overall performance has also made their debut.

Alternatives
