The updated bike will now wear a new shade called Candy Lime Green. Apart from this, it remains exactly the same as the outgoing model with lots of modern features, including a coloured 4.3-inch TFT rider’s display, smartphone connectivity and LED headlight as standard. Also, to alter the overall performance, Kawasaki has decided to offer three ride modes, namely – Rain, Road and Sport. Other electronic aids, such as traction control and power modes are available on the updated range as well.

Based on a steel-trellis frame, the 2022 Z900 sits on a 41mm telescopic fork up front. At the rear, it still gets a back-link unit that works flawlessly by absorbing all the bumps. Enough stopping power for this motorcycle is still ensured by twin discs (front) and a single disc at the back. For rider’s safety, the entire setup is assisted by a dual-channel ABS.

According to Kawasaki, Z900 now weighs 212 kgs. Meanwhile, to enhance the overall range, it gets a 17-litre fuel tank.

At the heart, it will be featuring a 948cc four-cylinder engine known for producing a massive 123.6HP and 98.6Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties for this setup are managed by a 6-speed gearbox while being paired to a slipper clutch. For your information, this unit has been updated to match the BS6 emission norms.
