The route to revival plan is still on and therefore, almost all the bike manufacturers are ready to introduce as exciting offerings as they can. Well today, Kawasaki has introduced the 2022 Z900 with a price tag starting at Rs.8.42 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Features & Design

Just like the model that was last updated, the new Z900 still comes with a muscular fuel tank, an aggressive LED headlight setup and twin wing mirrors. In terms of features, it is still packed with all-LED lighting, three-level traction control, two power modes, smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster.

Colour Scheme

Available with a single colour scheme, it features a new Metallic Spark Black with Lime Green that looks absolutely striking and enhances the entire road presence.

Engine

Powered by a potent 948cc four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that churns out a massive 125PS @ 9500 RPM and 98.6Nm of peak torque @ 7700 RPM while being paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. To alter the overall performance, Kawasaki has decided to continue offering four ride modes including – Road, Rain, Sport and Rider on the new Z900.

Hardware

Suspension duties for the 2022 Z900 are managed by an adjustable 41mm USD fork at the front. Meanwhile, at the back, it is still available with a conventional monoshock unit that can also be adjusted according to the requirement.

To stop such a powerful naked motorcycle, Kawasaki is offering twin 300m discs (front) and a single 250mm disc (rear). Interestingly, there’s even a dual-channel ABS on board to improve the overall braking performance.
