Kia Seltos is seriously the undisputed SUV for several markets. One of them is the US market, and to continue the legacy the Korean brand has introduced the 2022 Seltos range. Surprisingly, a new entry for the trim named Kia Seltos Nightfall Edition has rolled out in the United States.

Design & Exterior

To begin with, the all-new Nightfall Edition is a replacement for the older S AWD variant. Multiple cosmetic changes including a blacked-out grille, 18-inch matte black alloy wheels, similarly treated side sills, new ‘KIA’ badging and subtle roof rails will remain a part of the special edition.

Inside the cabin, the Korean carmaker has introduced a fresh multi-function steering wheel with new badging on the centre. Interestingly, it will also get new leather upholstery, automatic climate control and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech for this specific model.

Engine

Under the hood, the 2022 Kia Seltos is available with either a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder unit or a 1.6-litre turbocharged GDI engine. Talking about the first one, it is capable of producing 146HP and 178Nm of peak torque with an IVT gearbox as standard. Interestingly, the second one which is also available on the Seltos Nightfall Edition churns 175HP and 265Nm of torque with a DCT gearbox as standard.

For now, the 2022 Kia Seltos Nightfall Edition will also be getting AWD as standard.

Price 

In the USA, the 2022 Kia Seltos Nightfall Edition comes priced at $26,690 (excluding $1,175 destination). When converted to Indian currency, it is expected to cost somewhere around Rs.19.37 Lakhs.

MG Motors introduced the updated MG Hector at the starting of this year. As per the carmaker, the all-new SUV received several updates including a revised grille, a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels, a wireless charging pad, ventilated seats and Hinglish voice commands among others.
