Exterior & Design

The updated ZS EV looks very similar to the recently launched MG Astor. To differentiate it, the carmaker is offering a closed front grille, charging socket and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. Apart from this, the entry-level Excite variant is expected to make its debut by July 2022 with some minor changes.

Interior & Safety

The carmaker apart from revising the interior has also tried to improve the practicality inside the cabin as well. Starting with the dashboard, it now features a massive 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel, large AC vents and a 7-inch fully digital driver’s display.

Interestingly, other modern features such as a wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, multiple USB and type-C ports are also there to enhance the premium feel.

For occupants’ safety, the 2022 ZS EV is loaded up to the brim with 6 airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, a 36-degree camera and ADAS among others.

Battery and Powertrain

MG Motor has decided to update the battery pack. As a result, a new 50.3kWh unit has replaced the older one with a claimed range of 461kms. When compared to the outgoing unit, the range stands at a premium of 42kms.
