Just let Land Rover know what exact changes you want to make on the new Range Rover. The brand seriously wants to give you an individual experience and therefore, the updated SUV is now available with three engines, multiple seating layouts and two different wheelbase options.

Land Rover India has also finally revealed all the information related to the 2022 Range Rover. Interestingly, the updated SUV will now be available with a price tag starting at Rs. 2.31 Crores (ex-showroom, pan India).

Deliveries for the same will start sometime later. However, the British marque has decided to accept bookings for the same from today onwards.

In its fifth-generation avatar, the all-new Range Rover is based upon the brand’s new aluminium body structure. Just like other models, the carmaker is willing to sell this flagship SUV under different grades, including First Edition, SE, HSE and Autobiography.

The front and rear ends have been majorly tweaked to offer a modern look. For starters, it will be featuring a revised front bumper, LED headlights, grille and a muscular bonnet hood. Surprisingly, it is the rear end that features maximum changes.

The new wraparound taillight is an all-LED unit and as per the brand, it features the most powerful LEDs ever.

The interior has also been revised to enhance the overall luxury. To begin with, the 2022 Range Rover features some best in class elements such as a 35-speaker Meridian Surround Sound System. Just to improve the overall practicality, Land Rover is also offering the latest 13.1-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system, dual screens for the back seats, 360-degree camera, active noise cancellation and an air ioniser just to name a few.

Engine & Powertrain

Land Rover has decided to bring three engine options for the Indian market. The first variant, also known as the P400 will be featuring a 394BHP, 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology onboard.

There’s even a D350 variant with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine that churns out a massive 346BHP and 700Nm while being assisted by a similar hybrid system. The British marque trying not to compromise with the performance is also coming up with the P530 variant in India.

According to them, this new variant is powered by a potent 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The overall output from this motor is rated at 523BHP and 750Nm of torque.

For your information, Land Rover will stick to an automatic gearbox across the entire range. Interestingly, all of them are said to be available with a four-wheel-drive system as standard.
