2022 Range Rover Sport Makes World Debut, Will Cost INR 1.64 Crore In India

Unveiled globally a few days ago, the all-new 2022 Range Rover Sport has finally been listed on the brand’s Indian website with a price tag starting at Rs.1.64 Crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The British marque has even confirmed that they are about to begin the deliveries by November 2022. This way, the SUV has finally become one of the most exciting launches this year.

Exterior & Variants

Land Rover has confirmed that the all-new Range Rover Sport will be sold in four variants, including – SE (Dynamic), HSE (Dynamic), Autobiography and First Edition. Since the last one is going to be available only till the first year since its launch, therefore, the British marque has decided to reserve it as a top-end variant.

Although changes on some of the ends are massive, the silhouette of the new SUV remains exactly the same. We are even sure that you might be able to recognise it at one glance. For example, the front end now features a stealth-like front grille flanked by LED headlights. All these updates are definitely going to remind you of the outgoing model but with a fresher look. Also, the rear profile has received some massive enhancements to replace the conventional design that we have been witnessing since a really long time.

Last but not least, the 2022 Range Rover is also equipped with air suspension to adjust the driving dynamics when needed. To dig a little deeper, it features the brand’s Integrated Chassis Control to alter the overall performance.

Interior

Cabin still feels like a typical Land Rover affair but to compliment the changes outside, the British marque has decided to update the interior as well. Starting with the dashboard and seats, both of them are now available with brand-new gizmos and world-class material for the upholstery. Feature-wise, the 2022 Range Rover has been loaded with an air ioniser, 29 speakers surround sound system, active noise cancellation and a Pivi Pro infotainment system as standard.

Safety on the other hand is ensured by multiple basic and ADAS features making the Range Rover a complete package in every sense.

Engine

Initially, the brand has decided to offer a 350PS, 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine with mild-hybrid technology. However, at a later stage, some petrol engines are also expected to make their debut just how they are doing it globally. The luxury SUV is also available with an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system as standard.
