The demand for this segment has been improving dramatically over the past few years and that’s why several bike manufacturers have been introducing their updated products lately. Benelli is one of those automakers who wish to try their lunch. As a result, the Italy based brand has finally decided to update the existing Benelli TRK 502X for MY2023. The all-new bike is costing Rs.5.94 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India but is this price tag justified? Here’s take a look at it down below.

2023 Benelli TRK 502X
Coming to the changes for 2023, TRK 502X now comes with three new shades and surprisingly, there are some mechanical updates as well. The manufacturer has revised the swingarm and even the alloy wheels have been replaced for lighter units. To give you an exact number, Benelli claims that the updated bike is now 3.6kgs lighter than the outgoing model.
The updated bike also gets a fully coloured rider’s display that feels premium. Thankfully, it’s not only premium but practical as well. Some modern crucial features such as a tyre pressure monitoring system can be toggled via this new instrument cluster. Another interesting feature that has been added is the heated grips in case you need them during winters. It’s a shame that a bike costing this much still misses out on traction control and smartphone connectivity.
Powered by the same 500cc twin-cylinder engine, the updated bike is expected to remain powerful. Benelli claims that this power unit is capable of churning out a decent 47 horsepower and 46Nm while being paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Rivals
The middleweight adventure tourer segment is still not crowded and that’s the only reason why it has so much potential. In terms of rivalry, Benelli TRK 502X is going to compete with Honda CB500X.
