After the unveiling of the Kawasaki Z1000 in Indonesia, a similar version of the Z1000 is now expected to launch in India soon.
Kawasaki has officially revealed the new Kawasaki z1000 in Indonesia. The new Kawasaki Z1000 unlikely to receive many changes as compared to the previous Z1000. The only change expected is the update of the engine as per the BS6 norms.
The Kawasaki Z1000 is revealed in Indonesia priced at RM 349,000,000 which is ₹17.78 lakhs when converted to Indian currency.
The Kawasaki Z1000 is to be powered by a 1043cc, in-line 4 cylinder liquid-cooled 16 valve DOHC engine. The engine produces 140BHP of power and 111Nm of torque. Mated with a 6-speed transmission the superbike also comes with the slipper clutch.
The features on offer with the Kawasaki Z1000 engine are the twin-pod LED headlamps, tail lamps and turn signal indicators. However, the sad part at this price point is the semi-digital instrument cluster while no TFT screen is to be offered. The only color option with the Kawasaki Z1000 is the Black color. No green color will be offered with the updated version.
The only safety feature offered with the Kawasaki Z1000 is the ABS. Meanwhile, traction control and cornering ABS will not be offered with the new version as well.
Kawasaki Z1000 will come with a 41mm inverted fork in the front. However, the rear suspension will be a mono-shock unit.
Kawasaki Z1000 BS6 is yet to be announced in India. The price however is not expected to change.
