  • Features several cosmetic and feature updates for MY22.

2022 Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge: What’s new?

Exterior & Interior

Starting with the major updates on the outside. To begin with, this new sedan now comes with large 21-inch alloy wheels, slightly dark chrome on the grille and the ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ and a similar treatment on some other panels.

A slightly darker interior is all you will get to experience inside the cabin. The dashboard now sports black wood veneers and an evergreen clock to retain the overall practicality. Even the blue panels inside the cabin definitely help in balancing the funky and premium feel.

Hardware

Rolls Royce has introduced larger air springs that help in containing the body roll during cornerings. Interestingly, several revisions related to throttle response, four-wheel steering and braking system have been made to improve the ‘fun to drive’ factor.

Engine

Under the hood, it will be using a potent 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine with overall output rated at 592HP and 906Nm. A new ‘Low’ driving mode has made its debut this time and to be precise, it helps in improving the driving dynamics while allowing quicker gear shifts.

The carmaker aims at young buyers with the new Black Badge series. For now, its success totally depends upon how people will approach the all-new Ghost. Sadly, there’s no confirmation regarding its launch in India yet.

Alternatives

Globally, the all-new Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge does not have any direct rival but in terms of luxury, it will go against the likes of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Want to learn more about it? Check out all the details related to it down below.
