Design
Aston Martin is obviously known for its high-end sports car. However, with the increasing demand for SUVs, the carmaker could not resist and introduced the DBX in 2019. Coming to the design bit, it gets the signature ‘DB’ grille at the front, LED headlamps with DRLs, 22-inch alloy wheels, twin exhausts, a roof-mounted spoiler, etc. among others for that massive road presence. The SUV misses out on the ceramic disc brakes. However, the Aston Martin DBX also features suspensions that can increase the ride height by 45mm.
Features
With a five-seater layout, it comes with a panoramic glass roof at the top for that airy feel inside the cabin. Meanwhile, other features such as a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting and a 360-degree parking camera among others are available as standard. Further, even after being a performance SUV, it offers an ample amount of practicality to its customers with a boot space of around 632 litres. Apart from this, the infotainment system on the Aston Martin DX also supports Apple CarPlay as standard.
Engine
Under the hood, Aston Martin DBX comes with a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 550HP and a massive torque of 700Nm. Powered by Mercedes AMG, this motor is available with a 9-speed torque converter gearbox and is tuned to do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 4.5 seconds. Further, this unit gets the option to deactivate its cylinders at lower speeds for better fuel efficiency.
