With the announcement regarding its sports-oriented SUV last month, Audi has launched the Audi RS Q8 in India. The sports variant of Audi Q8 is ready to roll out in the market at an introductory price of ₹2.07 crores. The Audi RS Q8 is an SUV that is capable both offroad as well as on road.

  • Engine and Transmission

The engine that powers Audi RS Q8 is a 4.0-litre TFSI twin-turbocharged V8 petrol unit. It produces a massive 600HP of power and 800Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 8-speed Tiptronic unit helps in assisting the transmission duties.

  • Performance

Alongside the V8 engine, Audi RS Q8 comes with a mild-hybrid technology that enhances its performance further. The RS variant of Audi Q8 also comes with a Cylinder on Demand technology. With the Quattro (all-wheel-drive) system, Audi RS Q8 can do 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. Audi RS Q8 comes with a top speed of 250 kmph, however, with the RS dynamic kit its top speed enhances to 304 kmph.

Audi RS Q8 is recognized for its lap time of 7 minutes 42 seconds at the Nurburgring Nordschleife Circuit.

  • Interior and Exterior

This SUV offers the single-frame octagonal honeycomb grille in gloss black, RS side sills, 23-inch alloy wheels, LED headlight with DRLs, front as well as side inlets and intakes, RS-specific roof spoilers, LED rear light strip, rear diffuser, oval exhaust pipes, and many other features.

The difference between the Audi Q8 and RS Q8 remains to be a powerful engine. However, with a huge visual difference, it is easy to distinguish both the SUVs effortlessly. The interior of Audi RS Q8 comes with the Audi virtual cockpit, flat-bottom multifunction steering wheels with paddle shifters, sport seats, and ambient lighting. Meanwhile, the Matrix LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, RS Sports Exhaust, Bang and Olufsen sound system, etc. are the optional features on offer.

Audi RS Q8 will rival  Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne Turbo in India.
