Audi has recently launched its compact SUV in India called the Audi Q2. And the price starts at ₹34.99 lakh and goes up ₹48.89 lakh for the top-spec variant. However, this is the pre-facelift model of the Audi Q2 as India might get the facelifted version later.
Design-wise, Audi Q2 comes with the signature Audi single-frame octagonal grille, all-LED headlights with DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps and rear diffuser. Meanwhile, it measures somewhere around 4318mm long, 1805mm wide and 1548mm tall. Apart from this, the wheelbase of the Q2 remains to be 2593mm.
Under the hood, the all-new Audi Q2 gets a 2.0L TFSI Petrol engine. This TFSI motor, however, produces 190BHP of power with a peak torque of 320Nm while being coupled to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Coming to the performance, Q2 can easily complete a 0-100 kmph run in just 6.5 seconds. Meanwhile, the top speed remains to be around 228 kmph.
Inside the cabin, Q2 gets a plain dashboard with the 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit and an 8.3-inch infotainment system. Apart from this, it gets a flat-bottom steering wheel, wireless charging pad, ambient lighting, 2-zone climate control and sports seat at the front.
Overall, the Audi Q2 is a good option as an entry-level Audi. However, there are 6 upcoming cars by Audi including the facelifted A3, Q3, Q5, Q7, TT and e-Tron for India.
