Audi Q5 Limited Edition: What’s New?
In terms of cosmetic enhancements on the outside, Audi Q5 Limited Edition comes painted in Mythos Black. Thankfully, the blacked-out effect that we are witnessing is not limited to the body and runs all the way to the grille, roof rails and other panels to make it sportier. Then comes the cabin and to be precise, it now features the Okapi Brown upholstery, uplifting the experience inside.
As we have discussed, changes are mostly limited to cosmetic ones. But as Audi has confirmed, the limited edition Q5 is based upon the Technology variant and therefore, it comes loaded with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch fully digital driver’s display, 19-speakers Bang & Olufsen surround sound system, three-zone climate control, wireless charging, a massive panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, Park Assist and eight airbags to name a few.
Just like the regular Technology variant, even the limited edition comes powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 265 horsepower and 370Nm of peak torque. The famous TFSI engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission can push the Q5 to do a 0-100kmph sprint in 6.1 seconds. On the other hand, the top speed of the same is rated at 240kmph. Audi also boasts that the compact SUV is available with the brand’s all-wheel drive Quattro system for enough grip, adaptive suspension and six different drive modes such as Comfort, Dynamic, Individual, Auto, Off-Road and Efficiency to alter the overall driving experience when needed.
In India, Audi Q5 compares with other luxury compact SUVs including BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and Mercedes-Benz GLC among others.
