To be available in two variants – 50 e-Tron and 55 e-Tron, Audi Q8 e-Tron will be featuring twin powerful motors that would churn out a combined output of 408 horsepower and 664Nm. The result is this electric SUV can now clock a triple-digit speed in just 5.6 seconds.

Making it more capable is the e-quattro all-wheel drive system that is available with three drive modes, namely – Auto, Dynamic and Off-Road, thankfully available with both variants.

Talking a little bit about the 50 e-Tron, it features a similar setup but in a detuned manner propelling 340 horsepower and 664Nm.

Of course, there is a difference between the battery pack. Here the 55 e-Tron is available with a 114kWh battery pack with an overall range lying between 582 kilometres to 600 kilometres. Whereas the 50 e-Tron is available with a 95 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with 491 to 505 kilometres of overall range.

In terms of options, Audi has been considerate enough. As a result, the Q8 e-Tron has made its debut with nine paint shades. The customisation does not end there, as Audi has also confirmed that the interior of the same will be offered in Black, Beige or Brown. Customers also get the option to customise their Q8 e-Trons further using the Audi Exclusive package.

Feature-wise, Audi has made the new EV loaded with a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen surround sound system, four-zone climate control, Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus and Park Assist, among others.

The German carmaker has also decided to offer charging of up to 22kW AC or 170kW DC with sockets on either end for a peaceful experience. Other than this, the new Audi Q8 e-Tron can be juiced up from 10 to 80 per cent in just 31 minutes.

Still worried about the charging? Audi is offering complimentary charging at any station across the country till the end of this year. As a part of the package, 10-year Roadside Assistance, 8-year/1,60,000 kilometres warranty on battery and 2+3 years of warranty on the vehicle are also there to offer a hassle-free experience to the customers.
