Audi has finally revealed the much-awaited Audi E-Tron GT saloon. Currently, the German carmaker will offer the E-Tron GT with two variants, precisely – the regular one and the RS. Want to learn more about the all-new electric saloon? Here are all the details.

Design

In terms of design, the all-new electric saloon comes with a sloping roofline, LED headlamps, honeycomb pattern grille and sleek LED taillamps among others. Apart from this, the regular variants run on a set varying from 19 to 21-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, th RS variant comes with its own specific badging alongside 21-inch alloy wheels.

Interior

Inside the cabin, Audi E-Tron GT comes with a driver-oriented layout. For instance, the infotainment system on this performance saloon is titled more towards the driver end. However, apart from this, there are plenty of other features such as a 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster, Bang and Olufsen surround sound system, connected car feature, etc. among others. The interior of the RS variant is almost similar to the regular variant.

Powerplant

The regular Audi E-Tron GT is powered by two electric motors on offer. Starting with the front axle that draws power from a 238HP electric motor. Then there is another 435HP motor for the rear axle.

This all-new electric saloon comes with Audi’s Quattro four-wheel drive system. However, the combined output from both the motors stands at 475HP alongside a peak torque of 630Nm. In terms of performance, the regular variant can do a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 4.1 seconds while mated to a 2-speed gearbox for the rear axle.

Further, the E-Tron GT RS comes with a more powerful electric motor that produces a massive 598HP and 830Nm of torque. Also, performance-wise, the RS variant can do a 0-100 kmph run in just 3.3 seconds. Whereas, the top speed of this variant stands at 250kmph.

Alternative & Launch

Audi is expected to launch the E-Tron GT in India by the end of 2021. However, when launched in India the all-new electric saloon will directly compete against the likes of Porsche Taycan. Also, the German carmaker is all set to launch the E-Tron SUV soon.
