Audi reveals R8 Green Hell; pays tribute to Audi R8 LMS

HIGHLIGHTS:

Audi has recently revealed the R8 Green Hell limited edition globally. The limited-edition Audi R8 pays tribute to the R8 LMS for its victories on the Nurburgring. The all-new Audi R8 comes with a Tioman Green as standard. However, three more colors including the Ibis White, Daytona Gray and Mythos Black. Only 50 units of the Audi R8 Green Hell will be available for sale globally.

The limited-edition R8 gets a muscular look with a sloping black roof, revised headlamps, trapezoidal grille and wider air intakes for better cooling. Likewise, the 20-inch alloy wheels with red accents on it make it sportier. Audi R8 Green Hell also comes with sleek taillamps, twin exhaust and a spoiler at the rear.

Powered by a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine the Audi R8 produces 602HP of power with a peak torque of 560Nm. The engine comes coupled to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Audi R8 Green Hell can do a 0-100 kmph in just 3.1 seconds. Meanwhile, the top speed remains to be 331 kmph.

Inside the cabin, Audi R8 Green Hell gets a touchscreen infotainment system, bucket seats, flat-bottom steering and center panels with Alcantara upholstery. Meanwhile, the red finishing continues inside the car across the dashboard, steering wheel, door armrest, knee pads as well as on the center armrest.

Audi R8 LMS this year will compete against the Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo, BMW M6 GT3, Ferrari 488 GT3, Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, 7 Porsche Cars and Glickenhaus SCG004c.
