Audi has recently started the production of the fifth-generation Audi A4 in India. However, the company will launch the luxury sedan soon that will lay the foundation of Audi’s new offensive strategy. Further, the company has already revealed the 2021 Audi A4 for the global market and here are all the details you need to know.
Starting from the design, the all-new Audi A4 now gets a redesigned bumper both at the front as well as rear. Meanwhile, other updates include a set of newly designed headlights with DRLs and alloy wheels. However, inside the cabin, it comes equipped with a new 10.1-inch infotainment display, sunroof, heated seats at the front, three-zone climate control, etc. that are available across all variants as standard. Apart from this, the new infotainment system is also compatible with Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto.
Inside the engine bay, the luxury sedan will now come up with a 2.0 turbocharged petrol engine that produces 190BHP of power. However, it will come mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox without Audi’s Quattro system. Further, the diesel engine will not available for the Indian market anytime soon.
In India, the 2021 Audi A4 will go against the likes of Mercedes Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series and Volvo S60. Meanwhile, this time the luxury sedan is expected to come priced in between Rs.40-45 Lakh (ex-showroom). However, we expect Audi A4 to launch in India by the first quarter, 2021.
