BMW has recently launched its entry-level coupe sedan in India. The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe for the Sports Line trim comes priced at ₹39.30 lakh. Meanwhile, the M Sport variant of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe comes with a price tag of ₹41.40 lakh.
Coming to the exterior of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, the car comes with the signature BMW kidney grille, full-LED headlights, LED tail lamps, modern features and the sloping roof for the Coupe design.
Other features such as the head-up display, sunroof and BMW ConnectedDrive tech will also be offered on the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe.
The engine that powers the entry-level sedan for BMW is a 2.0L TwinPower turbo diesel unit. It produces 190BHP of power with a peak torque of 400Nm. Meanwhile, with this engine, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe can easily do a 0-100 kmph in just 7.5 seconds. However, the top speed of the coupe sedan remains to be 233 kmph. On the other hand, the engine comes paired to an 8-speed Steptronic transmission. This gearbox is also said to support the launch control for the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe. However, BMW has also confirmed that it will bring the petrol engine for the 2 Series Gran Coupe to India soon.
Inside the cabin, BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, BMW virtual assistant, wireless charging pad, and park assist. Meanwhile, the infotainment system of the BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay.
Safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS, Brake Assist, DTC, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Electronic Differential Lock Control (EDLC), and attentiveness assistance comes with the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe.
