The German marque has decided to offer this special edition in two different shades. For your information, the picture above represents both the shades, namely – Alpine White and Black Sapphire. The front profile of the 220i Black Shadow comes with a gloss black grille and similarly treated wing mirrors. Coming to the rear and side profile, they are enhanced with the help of a subtle spoiler, sportier exhausts and 18-inch Matt Jet forged alloy wheels respectively.

The cabin does feel like a typical BMW affair. However, to differentiate, it will get upholstery to match the upgrades that are there on the outside. Interestingly, the dashboard still gets a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a similar-sized infotainment display to retain the practicality. Other features such as sport seats, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and gesture control are also available as standard.

Under the hood, it will be using a 2.0-litre TwinPower turbocharged petrol engine. As claimed by the brand, it is truly capable of churning out a massive 190HP and 280Nm that pushes the sedan to clock a triple-digit speed in 7.1 seconds. Transmission duties on the 220i Black Shadow are still assured by a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

Further improving the overall performance are features such as launch control, cruise control and four drive modes among others. For occupants safety, BMW has loaded it with 6 airbags, ABS, ISOFIX mounts, etc as standard. To book the all-new BMW 220i, please visit the brand’s official website. For more details click here.
