Exterior
For the information, the all-new Iconic Edition has been locally manufactured. Starting with the front end, it comes with an illuminated grille that looks absolutely stellar at night. Meanwhile, other basic elements including LED headlamp, muscular bonnet hood and wide air intake are still there to retain the overall practicality.
Available in three colour schemes, precisely Cashmere Silver, Mineral White and Carbon Black, the all-new 3 Series Iconic Edition looks striking from all four ends.
Interior
The layout of the dashboard is a typical BMW affair. It still features a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a multi-functional steering wheel. Other features including a panoramic sunroof, 3-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, etc are also a part of the list.
To be precise, BMW has decided to offer additional coat hanger illuminated gear knob and headrest cushions on this new Iconic Edition.
Engine
Available in both petrol and diesel variants, it comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that churns out a massive 255BHP and 400Nm of peak torque. There’s even a similarly displaced diesel motor with overall output rated at 189BHP and 400Nm. Interestingly, both the engines are available with an 8-speed automatic gearbox with multiple drive modes, launch control and paddle shifters as standard.
The spec sheet of the all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition clearly states that there are five drive modes namely – Eco, Comfort, Pro, Sport and Sport Plus as standard.
