BMW Motorrad has recently announced a price hike on both – the BMW G310 R and G310 GS. This time the entry-level motorcycles receive a hike of Rs.5000 due to which the BMW G310 R will now come with a price tag of Rs.2.50 Lakh. Meanwhile, the sports tourer version will now be retailed at Rs.2.90 Lakh onwards.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • BMW Motorrad has announced a price hike on both the G310 twins.
  • Both the motorcycles receive a price hike of Rs.5000.
  • The BMW G310 R now comes with a price tag of Rs.2.50 Lakh.

Even though both – the G310 R and G310 GS are entry-level motorcycles for the BMW Motorrad portfolio. They still remain one of the most practical motorcycles with some high-end performance for the Indian market. Further, to increase that style quotient the German bike manufacturer offers three color schemes for the BMW G310 R and it includes – Polar White, Cyanite Blue and Black Yellow. Meanwhile, the BMW G310 GS is available with Limestone Metallic, Cosmic Black and Polar White.

Suspension duties on the BMW G310 R and G310 GS are taken care of by a 41mm inverted fork at the front. Meanwhile, at the rear, both the motorcycles are equipped with a monoshock setup. Apart from this, there are disc brakes on both ends alongside dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.

Both the G310 twins are powered by the same 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This updated 313cc engine on the G310 twins is not only refined but also complies with the stricter BS6 emission norms. Further, it can produce a massive 33.5HP @ 9,250 RPM alongside a peak torque of 28Nm @ 7,500 RPM. For slick-shifting, this engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and is available with a slip and assist clutch.

BMW Group has recently announced that it will launch around 25 new products in India by the end of 2021. We hope BMW Motorrad will introduce some more entry-level motorbikes in India this year.
