BMW discontinued the BMW 320d Sport variant in March this year. However, BMW has decided to relaunch the BMW 320d Sport variant again.
BMW 320d Sport to be the entry-level sedan for the BMW Motors in India. With a price tag of ₹42.10 lakhs which makes this particular model the second most affordable BMW after the BMW 320i Sport variant.
BMW 320d will also be cheaper than the luxury line variant which is also the top diesel variant in the BMW 3-series lineup. The BMW320d Sport will be cheaper by ₹5.40 lakhs when compared to the BMW 320d luxury line variant.
Powered by a 2.0L 4 cylinder diesel engine the BMW 320d Sport variant produces an amazing 190BHP of power and 400Nm of torque. Mated with a 8-speed torque converter transmission the BMW 320d can easily go from 0-100kmph in just 6.8 seconds.
However, the feature to be offered in the BMW 320d Sport variant will be almost similar to the BMW 320i Sport. Auto LED headlights, 3-zone climate control, a rearview camera, rain-sensing wiper, and many other features to be the same as the petrol sport variant.
Meanwhile, the safety features on offer are to be the tyre pressure monitoring system, traction control, ABS, ESC alongside with 6 airbags.
The same variant earlier was priced around ₹41.40 lakhs. However, the relaunched price of the BMW 320d Sport variant has increased by ₹60,000.
BMW 320d to rival the Jaguar XE, Mercedes Benz C-Class, and the Audi A4 which is yet not arrived, but will be arriving soon.
