BMW has recently announced that the German carmaker is all set to start the pre-bookings of the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine in India. Customers can book the extended wheelbase sedan against a token amount of Rs.50,000. Meanwhile, the first 50 customers before 12 noon, 21 January 2021 are expected to get multiple benefits including a “Comfort Package” that is worth Rs.1,00,000.
What’s different from the regular BMW 3 Series?
Scheduled to launch on 21st January 2021, the all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine remains almost similar to the regular 3 Series. However, with an enhanced wheelbase, the legroom for the rear-seat passengers has also increased to a great extent. Feature-wise, the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine comes with a powered sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay. Further, the luxury sedan also features ambient lighting and multi-zone climate control.
After its launch, the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is going to be one of the longest entry-level sedans in India.
Engine
Powering the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is a 2.0L diesel engine that churns out 188BHP of power and a peak torque of 400Nm. Meanwhile, there is another 2.0L turbocharged petrol motor that produces 255BHP of power alongside 400Nm of torque. Further, transmission duties for both the engine are handled by an 8-speed automatic transmission.
