Recently, BMW India has introduced the all-new X7 Dark Shadow Edition at Rs.2.02 Crores (ex-showroom, Delhi) and mind you, it looks absolutely staggering with the additional updates it has received.

BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition

With a motive to serve the customers with best in class luxury and exclusivity, BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition is finally here with multiple updates. It is currently available with the BMW Individual special shade known as Frozen Arctic Grey Metallic. To further differentiate, this edition comes with multiple chrome black elements including a similarly treated kidney grille, side scuffs, pillars and exhaust system. Apart from all these updates, it will run on a new set of 22-inch M light-alloy wheels. Interestingly, these wheels are treated in a Jet Black matte finish with V-spoke design language.

Features

Being the top-end variant, it comes equipped with features such as a 12.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, multi-zone climate control, heads up display and 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system. Interestingly, the German brand has also introduced the latest 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system to the BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition and undoubtedly, it is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Interior & Safety Features

Inside the cabin, customers will get the option to choose between a 6 or a 7-seater variant. Surprisingly, even the special edition SUV will continue to get electrically adjustable front seats with memory function onboard. Also, multiple edition specific equipment such as M leather steering, Merino leather upholstery, Blue roof liner finished in Alcantara, etc. among others will be there for an upmarket look.

On the safety fronts, BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition is expected to come with a 360-degree camera, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), multiple airbags, electric parking brake and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) just to name a few.

Engine & Performance

At the heart, BMW X7 Dark Edition will only be available with a 3.0-litre quad-turbo diesel motor. According to the company, it is the M50d variant that the all-new X7 Dark Edition is based upon. Well this way, it will be truly capable of producing 400PS of power and a peak torque of 760Nm while being mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Stability can never be an issue as it will continue to come with the brand’s xDrive all-wheel drive powertrain.

Performance-wise, it can do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 5.4 seconds. The top speed of this powerful SUV remains electronically limited to 250kmph. To register interest click here.

Price

The all-new BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition might look overpriced at Rs.2.02 Crores. However, in terms of price, it will be competing against the well-established performance SUVs such as Audi RS Q8, Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG GLS 63, etc among others.
