After the success of Kia Seltos and Kia Carnival, the Korean carmaker is all set to launch its first sub-4-meter SUV, the Kia Sonet. According to the sources, bookings of the new Kia Sonet to begin from August 7, 2020.
Kia Sonet to rival other sub-4-meter SUV’s such as Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. However, the Hyundai Venue is believed to be the toughest competition.
Kia is the subsidiary of the Hyundai, and thus the pricing and engine options remain almost very similar. Price has not been yet revealed by the company, however, specifications, variants information, and features to be revealed very soon.
Kia Sonet launch is scheduled in September month. Expected price to be around 7-12 lakhs INR.
Kia also counterfeited the news of Sonet being similar to the Hyundai Venue. However, it seems to be more similar to Kia Seltos in terms of the interior, sources added.
