Tata Motors has officially started the booking for the 2021 Tata Safari in India. Meanwhile, customers who are interested in the all-new Tata Safari can book the SUV against a token amount of Rs.30,000. As announced by the company, it will be launched in India on 22nd February and the deliveries will start on the same day.

Multiple variants including XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+ will be offered on the all-new Tata Safari. However, there are three additional automatic variants, precisely XMA, XZA and XZA+ available for sale.
The upcoming Tata Safari is a feature-loaded SUV. Meanwhile, the feature list includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and different terrain modes. However, the SUV on the other hand misses out on some modern features such as ventilated seats and a wireless charging pad.
Powering the 2021 Tata Safari is a 2.0-litre Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine. It can produce a massive 170PS of power while the peak torque stands 350Nm. Further, this engine comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
In India, the all-new Tata Safari will go against the likes of MG Hector Plus, Toyota Innova Crysta and the upcoming Mahindra XUV500. Tata Motors has recently launched the Founders Edition on several cars from the portfolio. However, Tata Safari will not be able to make it for that particular edition. Also, the Indian carmaker has launched an affordable variant of the Tata Tiago that offers additional features such as alloy wheels and a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
