Bajaj has recently announced a price hike on both the Bajaj Dominar twins. The updated BS6 Bajaj Domiar 400 is now costlier by ₹1507 while the Dominar 250 is expensive by ₹4090. This is the first time after the update as per the BS6 emission norm that the company is raising the price of the Bajaj Dominar. However, the company has not updated or added any feature on the Dominar counter to this price hike.
The BS6 Bajaj Dominar 250 comes with a 248.77cc, single-cylinder, 4 valves, liquid-cooled DOHC Fi engine. This engine produces 27PS of power with a peak torque of 23.5Nm and is paired to a six-speed gearbox. However, the features on offer are the LED headlamps, 13-litre fuel tank, twin-barrel exhaust system, dual-channel ABS and a digital speedometer. Meanwhile, the suspension in the front is a USD fork while the rear gets a mono-shock unit. The Bajaj Dominar 250 also gets a 17-inch tubeless tyre with a 300mm disc brake at the front. Meanwhile, it gets a 17-inch tubeless tyre with a 230mm disc at the rear. The color schemes on offer with the Dominar 250 are the Canyon Red and Charcoal Black.

Likewise, the BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400 draws its power from a 373.3cc single-cylinder, 4 valves, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 40Ps of power and 35Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the features on offer are the LED headlamp, LCD split speedometer and dual-channel ABS. The 400cc bike comes with a USD fork at the front while the rear gets a mono-shock absorber. Bajaj is offering two color schemes with the Dominar 400 – Aurora Green and Vine Black.
The updated price of BS6 Bajaj Dominar 250 now stands at ₹1,64,090. Meanwhile, the elder sibling comes with a price tag of ₹1,96,258. (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi)
