After the BS6 emission norm came into existence, many automobile companies were planning to minimize their entire lineup. Although, Hero MotoCorp has now updated the Hero Maestro Edge 110 as per the BS6 emission norms. It took them around 5 months to update their popular scooter according to the stricter emission norms.

The engine that powers the Hero Maestro Edge 110 is a 110.9cc, fuel injection petrol engine. It produces 8.16BHP of power with a peak torque of 8.75Nm. The outgoing fuel system was a carburetor unit. However, its direct rival the Honda Activa 6G produces a lesser output that is 7.79PS of power and 8.79Nm of torque.
