BYD e6: What’s it has got to offer?

Interior
The cabin of this all-new MPV feels premium with a neatly finished cabin. The dashboard of the new e6 features a premium panel and a large centre console. With a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, CN95 air ioniser and a multifunction steering wheel, it does feel practical from the inside as well.
Other highlights including – smartphone connectivity, adjustable front seats, leather upholstery and a rearview camera are also a part of the equipment list.
Hardware & Safety Aids
Based on the brand’s e-Platform, the all-new e6 sits on the MacPherson strut upfront and gets a multilink suspension setup at the back. For occupants’ safety, it comes with brakes powered by Bosch, ABS and seat belt reminder to name a few.
Powerplant & Charging
The recently launched e6 uses a 71.7kWh battery pack that works in conjunction with an electric motor that churns out a decent 94BHP and 180Nm. The carmaker claims that this all-new MPV can clock a top speed of 130kmph with an overall range of up to 520kms depending upon the driving conditions.
It supports both normal and fast charging. Talking about the fast one, it can juice up from 30-80 per cent in just 35 minutes.
